All of the remembrances of Sen. Ted Kennedy mark the end of an era, but seeing and hearing him in film clip his prime as a the legislative giant and fierce advocate of the underrepresented, disaffected and oppressed, makes you wonder who will take up the mantle. Loudly and quietly he kept the hope of Camelot alive.   He had more of an impact on every US citizen than that of most presidents.

As many moving words reflected on his extraordinary life, so many musical tributes celebrated his singular spirit.   None more moving than Brian Stokes Mitchell magnificent bass-baritone on ‘The Impossible Dream’ from Man of La Mancha, at his memorial service Fri. night.
