Whizzing around Rittenhouse after escaping from the desk I was stopped at Locust & 18th St. looked over and saw a hawk perched on the handle bars of a locked up bike.  Now that is protection!   The hawk took flight and I followed it as it soared to tree tops and I looked over and all of the pigeons and sparrows were lined up on building ledges like central casting for The Birds.

Uber-Rep. Sen. Orrin Hatch-  falsely accusing Dems of only trying to forge a single payer system- “If we ever go to that  system, we’ll all rue the day.”  Of course he is talking about and for conservative Republicans.

Curious that now Republicans have all these ideas about health care as the legislation moves to first base.  They of course are screaming that there is no bi-partisanship when they only delivered one Senate vote.  Meanwhile the Dems have agreed to 183 Republican compromises on this version of the bill.

And they continue to lie to seniors that Medicare will be taxed and reduced.  Obama is talking about reducing waste, inefficiency and the mafia of corporate hospitals, drug companies and insurance vampires.
